La publication que nous remettons aux lecteurs présente des questions relatives à de nombreux domaines du droit et couvre un vaste panorama du droit polonais. Elle se compose de dix-neuf chapitres élaborés par des auteurs de différents centres académiques polonais afin de contribuer au XXIe Congrès général de l’Académie internationale de droit comparé à Asunción, au Paraguay (23‒28 octobre 2022). Sa structure réflète l’ordre des sujets des sections de ce Congrès. Le livre fait partie d’une série spéciale créée à la maison d’édition de l’Université de Lodz par la Professeure Biruta Lewaszkiewicz-Petrykowska afin de présenter les recueils des rapports polonais en vue des Congrès généraux de l’Académie.
La Professeure Biruta Lewaszkiewicz-Petrykowska a été l’éditrice scientifique de ladite série (et de ce volume) jusqu’aux derniers jours de sa vie. Elle est décédée le 9 juin 2022 à l’âge de 94 ans.
The book we are handing over to the readers touches upon issues in many legal fields and covers a genuine panorama of Polish law. It consists of 19 chapters prepared by authors from various research centres in Poland with the aim to contribute to the XXIst General Congress of the International Academy of Comparative Law taking place in Asunción, Paraguay (23‒28 October 2022). Its structure reflects the order of the topics of this Congress’ sections. The publication forms part of a special series, set out in 1998 by Professor Biruta Lewaszkiewicz-Petrykowska at the Lodz University Press, presenting Polish reports prepared for consecutive General Congresses of the Academy.
Professor Biruta Lewaszkiewicz-Petrykowska was the scientific editor of the series (including this volume) until the end of her days. She died on 9 June 2022, aged 94.
